One price a student. Everything else included.

A school pays for the Year 11 and 12 students on Schanion. Every teacher, parent, carer and leader account is included, and so is every feature, so there is no list of add-ons to price.

For a school of 250 students and 20 teachers that is $5,800 a year, and it is covered if each teacher saves about 7.6 minutes a week. That minute figure is the one to test in a pilot.

Priced to get cheaper as you grow.

Each rate applies only to the students in that band, so a bigger school never pays more per student and never pays less in total. Prices are in Australian dollars, excluding GST. Introductory pricing, set by us for the first schools to join.

Integrated, so you buy it once.

Schools often pay separately for attendance follow-up, family messaging, a study planner, revision practice and an engagement platform. Here they are one product on one record, so a confirmed absence can create a catch-up plan and a teacher-approved note home without anything being re-entered.

How much it could save, worked out in the open.

Enter your own numbers. The staff-time figures are planning assumptions, not results, because Schanion has not been trialled in a real school. The line that matters is the last one: how many minutes a week each teacher has to save for the price to be covered.

Our full planning assumption on the home page is 90 minutes. This starts at half of that. Schanion has not been trialled in a real school, so treat both as guesses to test.

The worked sum

  1. Schanion for 250 students

    $5,800 a year

about $0.61 per student each teaching week, with every staff and family account included

  2. 20 teachers × 38 weeks × 45 min ÷ 60

    570 hours of staff time

  3. × $60 an hour

    $34,200 value of that time

  4. Value of time − $5,800

    $28,400

  5. To cover the price, each teacher needs to save

    7.6 min a week

The value of staff time is not money back in the budget. It becomes money only if it reduces relief, overtime or a tool you stop paying for. The break-even line is the figure to test in a pilot.

Bands: The first 200 students $24, Students 201 to 400 $20, Every student after 400 $16. Minimum $1,200 a year. Excluding GST.

Questions a school asks.

What does Schanion cost?
Per Year 11 and 12 student each year, excluding GST: $24 for the first 200 students, $20 for students 201 to 400, and $16 for every student after that. There is a minimum of $1,200 a year. Every teacher, parent, carer and leader account is included.
Is there a free trial?
The introductory offer is a free first term for up to two classes, so a school can see the roll, catch-up and family update on its own data before deciding.
How much time will it save?
We do not know yet, because Schanion has not been trialled in a real school. The calculator on this page uses planning assumptions that you can change, and it shows the minutes each teacher would need to save every week for the price to be covered.
Is the saving real money?
Not by itself. Staff time saved is a value: hours that can go back to teaching. It becomes money only if it reduces relief, overtime or a tool you stop paying for, which is why the calculator has a separate line for tools you would replace.
Do parents and teachers pay as well?
No. Pricing counts enrolled Year 11 and 12 students. Staff and family accounts are included.
Does it work with our school's existing systems?
Not yet. Rolls and marks are not written back to a student information system, and there is no email or SMS delivery. Teachers still enter the official roll in the school system. The product page is plain about what is built and what is not.
Is our students' data used to train AI?
No language model is used at all. The companion is a scripted guide, and student data is not sold or used for advertising.

See it before you decide.
